Your FOB is your keyless entry into the Dorchester. You will be issued a fob after you have completed the following:
1. Present your lease, or your settlement sheet to Resident Services, and pay your move-in fee.
2. Receive your move-in packet, find and fill out the Confidential sheet, and return it to the Management office.
3. Have your picture taken, and your fob will be created for you.
You can use your fob for several things:
1. Entry after midnight at the front door.
2. Entry during regular hours at the Package room door.
3. Entry into the Fitness Room.
4. Entry into the Pool, if you are a member.
We will issue one fob per resident, at a maximum of 2 per unit. If you lose your fob, you will be responsible for a replacement fob at a fee of $25. At that time, we will turn off the lost fob. If you should find your fob in the future, it will be useless. Don't confuse your useless fob with your new fob.
When you use your fob, you should wave it in front of the fob reader. Never rub the fob on the reader, or scrape the reader. This could cause serious damage to the fob reader. Never allow your fob to be used by someone else. Remember, your fob is programmed for your use only, and you will be responsible for any entry into our building, using your fob.
